My impression from listening to the message is clearly Alec is pissed. He feels taken advantage of and out of the loop. He’s dealing with his child filtered through the manipulation of her mother. I am not trying to bad-mouth Kim Bassinger or his daughter Ireland. I have no idea what goes on within this trifecta of broken hearts, but from what[...] Thanks to dmdo1016 for providing this nice story on Digg (more than 21 Diggs).

VOR1: I heard it several times and the only bad rap the guy is getting is self induced. It is one thing (though not good) to say something in anger to a spouse or another adult, but leaving a hate filled message like this for an 11 year old kid is way over the line. This guy is one sad sick puppy.
bfaulk04: When you’re only able to talk to your daughter who lives on the opposite side of the country during two scheduled times a day, I think if you missed a couple, you’d be pissed too. The real wrong-doing here is how this got out in the open.
