poplopez: God Bless Joe!

BobReturns: Joe, we’ve never met but you’ve given me hours of informative and engaging listening, you’re one of a fairly small number of people who I have great respect for. Keep fighting.

jackmangan: You deserve every bit of this love and support, Joe Murphy (aka Mason Rocket, aka Letch Carson, aka Joe Mercury).
We’re all here, we’re all behind you, man.

popred: hang in there joe,we all love you man…

tasarith: Joe, I just wanted to show my support. If anyone can beat this thing I know you can do it. Your work with the Farpoint Media crew had brought endless hours of laugh out loud entertainment to my life. I wish you the best of luck.

steelshadow: Damn, that really sucks. I’ve never met Joe but have enjoyed listening to the podcasts he is part of. All I can say is I wish him the best and hope they can still beat this thing!

p.s. I had to use the duggmirror to read the article. For the past 24 hours michaelandevo.com has been unavailable to me. Don’t know if it’s stupid Verizon ISP or what…

shm0edawg: As a sidebar, he has my first and last name and it freaked me out when I caught the headline on digg.

Keep fighting the good fight. My thoughts and prayers go out to ya.

HappyScrappy: Cancer isn’t capitalized unless you’re referring to the astrological sign (or it’s at the beginning of a sentence).

Your sentence reads like he’s struggling with his horoscope.

cfrazier: Whats with all of the positive thoughts? Many on here have knocked faith in God down many times yet are now talking about positive thoughts. What scientific evidence is there for the effect of other people’s positive thoughts? As for me, I am a Christian and believe that Jesus is all powerful, more than man and science. When things are out of man’s control I can look to Him for comfort, because He is in control. It must be really lonely to have convinced yourself that God does not exist and then be in a situation like this with nothing to put your hope in.

As for me, I am praying for Joe to the One how can still do something about it!

TheYellowMole: He went under the knife! Oh no, let’s hope Dr. Stiles can save him!

Robinh66: Kill Kuato!

billyvnilly: I don’t see my digg should be used to help one person, use his story to ask people to donate to organizations, or charity. Just from the brief glimpse i read in some of the entries: leiomyosarcoma which as metastasized to multiple organs and is not resectable. His would be highgrade, “In cases in which the grade of the tumor was documented, the median survival for patients with high-grade tumors was 25 months in one study, whereas the median survival for patients with low-grade tumors was approximately 98 months (Evans HL, 1985).” Unless he responds to chemo, i wouldn’t think radiation is a good choice for mets, his prognosis is poor at best. please consider donating to national charities, such as http://www.nlmsf.org/ (national leiomyosarcoma foundation).

nmrk: Digg: someone you never heard of is dying.
